Overseas Merchandise Inspection Co. (India) Pvt. Ltd. was established in the year 1957. Being among the earliest established overseas offices of the OMIC group of companies, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, this association provides access to an international network spanning the far reaches of the globe.

For over five decades by now, OMIC-India has been engaged in carrying out inspection and survey services for engineering items and general commodities - covering plant machinery and equipments, foodstuff, agricultural produce, textiles, chemicals, minerals and ores, among other items.
